AQIM chief under the death penalty in absentia

Tuesday, March 13th, Algerian judge, Tayeb Hillali, condemned AQIM chief, Abdelmalek Droukdel, and six of his codefendants to capital punishment for the Presidential palace terrorist attack of April 11th 2007.

They are accused of murder with premeditation, terrorist group settling, and attack with use of IED (improvised electronic device).
