I am imprisoned on federal death row in Terre Haute, Indiana. I am an artist.

I am a Russian Lithuanian citizen. I am the only prisoner from a European nation on U.S. Federal death row. I have no family or friends here in the United-States.I am housed in what basically amounts to a solitary confinement cell, with a frosted-over window, that I consider the cradle of creativity when it comes to my art.

My art is the meaning of life and a means through which I can tell people about injustice and death. Through my art, I hope people will come to have insight in to the feelings of a person who is facing execution. I would like to propose through artistic collaboration with you to share those feelings. I believe it is truly a unique circumstance to work on the same canvas as the only Russian artist sentenced to death in the United States. I would like to think of this time on death row as a social experiment along the lines "can art save life?"; if so, I believe, this must be it.

It is also my hope that through your help, not only can I find artists with whom to collaborate but I can also find someone who is willing to advise/aid in exposing and promoting my art. As well, I need someone who can organize and direct my collaboration with other artists and exhibits worldwide.
