The site allows you to browse through the new issues related to the death penalty in the world, via summaries of the debates and the point of view of experts who have come from different countries for the occasion. It also gives access to the main reflections and recommendations related to the future of the abolitionist struggle, as well as to all the resources developed for this unique occasion.
Recognized as the world's largest abolitionist event, the Brussels Congress brought together more than 1,500 activists, including 350 political representatives, diplomats, parliamentarians, as well as numerous jurists, researchers and students from the five continents. It was organized by ECPM in partnership with the World Coalition Against the Death Penalty and sponsored by the Government of Belgium, the European Union, the European Parliament, Switzerland and Norway.
